Fearne Cotton kindly launched our Winter Warmer Appeal.

Normally at this time of year we launch a campaign to bring smiles to children in hospital but this year we’re having to focus on keeping our families warm.

Post Pals is offering Oodies or blankets to every member of household. Families with seriously ill and disabled children are being the hardest hit. We have families who haven’t just cut back on luxuries but who are literally hungry some days, as well as cold. This is on top of struggling with every day worries of having life limited or terminally ill children.

Thanks to the donations so far we have started sending these out. Any future donations will help us to provide more support to families with items to keep warm. Our Justgiving page can be found here.

We are very sad to say that Aria passed away peacefully at 12:30am this morning surrounded by her family.
