Easter eggs for our Pals

Following on from the Christmas craft boxes that Sarah kindly arranged to be sent to Pals at Christmas time, she came up with another idea that she wanted to pursue… this time involving a whole lot of chocolate!
We were thrilled to hear of her idea so Sarah set on a mission to secure a personalised Easter egg for all of our Pals. She contacted Thorntons who were only too pleased to help support this project and generously donated 50 milk chocolate Easter eggs for our Pals!
At the end of February, Sarah had a knock at the door with a great big delivery of Easter eggs! She then set herself the task of taking them to her local Thorntons store to get each egg individually iced to add a personal touch to them. The staff at the Winchester Store were absolutely excellent and had all of the eggs iced in no time at all.
Sarah then had to think about how to distribute and ship all the eggs to our Pals. This was not an easy task due to the delicate nature of delivering chocolate eggs and also in terms of the potential issue of chocolate melting! However, CitySprint who offer a more bespoke and reliable courier service were more than up for the challenge. They very kindly packaged the eggs individually for us and then delivered them far and wide across the country to reach our Pals.
Please can we say a very special ‘Thank-you’ to both Thorntons and CitySprint for not only their kind generosity, but also the time and hard efforts that their staff have contributed to make this project successful. Without them, this project would not have been possible, so their input has been most appreciated by all at Post Pals.
