Party 2017 details

27 June 2017

This year our annual Post Pals summer party is being held on Saturday 1st of July. All our Post Pals families, past and present, and also all our volunteers are welcome.

We have lots happening at our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party including Princess make overs, Jedi training, a huge selection of giant inflatables, Photo Booth, slime table, giant bubble station, an unicorn who you can take for walks and decorate its mane and of course the craft based tea party!

Please come along and join in the fun, the more the merrier.

Hope to see you soon,

Vikki & the Post Pals team

Details:

Location and time –

It takes place at the same hall and garden as the past couple of years. The address is St Lawrence’s Church Hall, Browns Lane, Effingham, KT24 5NL. The party starts at 12.30pm and has scheduled activities until 6pm but last year some families stayed playing until 8pm. Volunteers are needed from 9am

Next door is a bigger hall with playing fields which isn’t us! We have a gate to our car park and will have our banner outside.

Travel –

There is a small car park (with disabled spaces) at the hall and on road parking in the quiet street. The closest big station is Leatherhead and we will be running lifts to and from on the day. If you need a lift please could you email me on viks@postpals.co.uk with your mobile number, what time your train will be arriving, how many of you there are and if you have a wheelchair with you.

Disabled information –

There is wheelchair access to everything including toilets and disabled parking in the car park. We have a changing bench and one of our Pals is bringing a portable hoist should you wish to bring a sling.

Weather –

The forecast for the day is currently dry but we have activities for fun in all weathers.

Accommodation –

We recommend the Leatherhead Travelodge due to the location (lots of cafes and restaurants and is minutes away from the station) and we can do pick up and drop offs to the Travelodge. We are NOT booking any rooms like in previous years/

Contact-

There is no internet at the hall so if you need to make contact on the day please text or ring Vikki on 07748 697475 or Steve on 07795 564006. Please note these numbers are just for contact on party days and not general Post Pal phone numbers.
